Remember baby monitors? You put a transmitter near your child, and keep a receiver with you so you can hear your baby cry (and I assume punish them when they do?). Well, iCry (uHear) is a baby monitor for the 21st century (that's the 2000's right? it always confuses me...) Basically, the "transmitter" is your computer. You have one, I assume, if you're reading this witty blurb. It probably even has a microphone built right in! You just need to have it close enough to your child that the microphone can pick up the sound of a crying baby (or mischievous toddler/spouse/babysitter/cat/etc). Then, with your iPhone, or another internet connected device, you login to icryuhear.com, iCry makes a short recording with your microphone and lets you listen to it, right then and there. Then, you react as necessary. That's it!
